Additional charges may be applied for services concerning
complex single family homes or for "RUSH" orders.
1. We will accept payment at the time of inspection from the homeowner. However, if payment is denied for any reason, the lender will be responsible for full payment of the appraisal assignment and any fees incurred by APPRAISE OHIO. ALL lenders are responsible for payment of appraisals ordered by their loan officers, employees, brokers, or sub-agents. NO EXCEPTIONS. An "Appraise Ohio Payment Agreement" must be on file for each company and loan officer or processor who will be ordering appraisals. VISA and Mastercard are accepted.
2. An inspection fee will be charged to the LENDER if the appraisal order is cancelled after the property inspection and prior to the conveyance of value. It is in violation of State and Federal guidelines for an appraiser to accept a contingent fee appraisal assignment. Therefore, if an estimate of value is conveyed, written or verbal, the full fee will be expected for the assignment.
